Land Preparation
Land preparation also known as tillage is a very important process used to manipulate the soil to bring about favourable conditions for crops. We offer the following services under land preparation:
- Ploughing: we provide ploughing services to break, loosen and turn over the upper layer of the soil, bringing fresh nutrients to the surface, while burying weeds and the remains of previous crops and allowing them to break down.
- Harrowing: This service ensures the break up and smoothing out the surface of the soil. It is also used for shallow cultivation in operations such as preparation of seedbed, covering seeds and destroying weed seedlings.
- Ridging: this is a process of creating sand-walls for planting.
